Jasminum polyanthum

Enjoy the exquisite wafting fragrance over many weeks. This attractive, lacy vine is covered with large clusters of rose colored buds that open to richly fragrant, white flowers. Give this exotic and beautiful vine a warm spot in your landscape and be sure to mulch during severe cold. This extra effort will give you fragrant rewards. Rose Jasmine can also be grown indoors. Rose Jasmine is hardy to between 10°-15° F. USDA Zones 7-10.

Size: 2 Quart Pot

Ask a Question
  • what is mature height?

Rose Jasmine is a vine that is indeterminate in length and requires a trellis for best effect.

  • Flowers suitable for flavoring teas?

Yes, it is suitable for teas, though not as commonly used as other jasmines.

  • Can this be grown in containers or planters?

  • Does this vine die back completely in the fall and need to be cut off or does it rebloom on the same vine the next season? Also, what is the size or length of the vine and does it just continue to expand each season? Thanks

It depends. Rose Jasmine is evergreen in many locations and it will grow to an unlimited size. It grows slower in cooler climates, just as our own, but only loses it leaves and will still increase in size each year.

Vigorous growth within days of receiving it. Can’t wait to see and smell the flowers.

Excellent packing of plants

The packing preserved the plants from damage in shipping and they arrived in very good shape. Too cold for me to plant them until weather warms a bit. Instructions on interim care very helpful.

Jasmine plant

This plant arrived in good condition except I think be-heading it to fit inside a package was a bit harsh. In the ground and doing well so far.
