The intensely sweet yet complex flavor of darling Rubinette, a cross between Golden Delicious and Cox's Orange Pippin, will please fans of the Cox crosses - and everyone else! Loads of incredibly delicious, small-medium, attractive dessert apples, golden with red stripes, ripen late - in early October in the PNW.
This patented scab and mildew-resistant Swiss cultivar is a favorite of organic growers in Europe, where it is grown commercially. Blooms mid-season, category 3.
