Prunus persica var. nectarina 'Sauzee King'

From Zaiger Hybrids - the first donut-style nectarine! This outstanding, early-season variety has white flesh that is sweet and juicy. The compact tree sets fruit at a young age and produces heavily. Thinning is required for large fruit size. The fruit has predominantly red skin covering a hint of yellow background.

Chilling requirement is estimated at 500 hrs. Self fertile. (Patent Pending)

I have previously ordered two cherry and one grape vine from Raintree, all in amazing condition. (I am in RI, zone 6B...The cherry trees are covered in blooms this year!)
Banking on the quality of those trees, I ordered the Sauzee King Nectarine and a Pineapple Quince. Both arrived in amazing condition with well developed trunks, and were pruned expertly. They have just started to leaf bud out, but look like they will be awesome trees! I highly recommend Raintree nursery, I am impressed with the quality of trees I have received:)
