  • Can these strawberries be planted in the fall when the nights often are below freezing?

    Strawberries can be planted in the Fall. It is best to plant them early enough in the season. A couple of weeks before your first frost date is ideal. This will give the plants time to establish before going dormant. 

  • How far apart should these be planted?

    Bareroot strawberry plants be planted between 6"-12" apart. We have a great planting video on our YouTube channel that will give you step-by-step instructions: How to Plant Strawberries.

So far, so good

I planted these in the ground a couple weeks ago outside of Yakima. They are all green and happy, despite the cold nights, even the one the field mice burrowed under:)
