Shinseiki Asian Pear
Pyrus pyrifolia 'Shinseiki'
A real treat for those with small spaces to plant in - Shinseiki is reliably self fertile in much of the US! It has thin yellow skin with mild, sweet white flesh. The fine quality and medium size fruit is similar to the common Nijiseiki you find in the stores.
A heavy, regular bearer. Fruit ripens in late summer. Moderate fireblight resistance.
