Pyrus pyrifolia 'Shinsui'

Among the sweetest of the Asian pears and among the first to ripen - known as "new juice" in Japan. The upright, vigorous tree is a heavy producer of medium sized, orange, russetted fruit.

One of the best cultivars we have tested at Raintree, this beauty also shows fireblight resistance in some growing areas.

So Far So Good -

Excellent stock arrived at proper planting time and was well packed and in excellent condition. Too early to write a review regarding performance but thus far I'd definitely recommend Raintree Nursery and will be back for more.

The bare roots fruit trees ordered arrived very healthy!. Soaked it for a day in a bucket of water & plant them in a pot! They look lively right now under my covered patio so not to schock them due to our crazy weather here in Northern California. ( it’s cool in the morning and in the 60°F on some days and then go up to 80°F and will go down again, crazy)
