Spring Mason Bees are perfect for fruit and nut trees, berries, and spring-blooming flowers. These super pollinators visit thousands of flowers per day with a pollination rate of 99%!  

Mason bees fly best when daytime temps are 55°F/13°C and above. Easy to raise, just set up their bee house with 8 mm (about 0.31 in) diameter nesting materials. These bees use clay-mud to create their nesting wall so be sure to supply them or if you don't have exposed, moist, clay-rich soil, be sure to order Spring Mason Bee Mud Mix.

Harvested Cocoons: We ship loose cocoons that have bee carefully collected and washed to prevent the spread of disease and minimize pests. 

Active for 4-6 Weeks: Mason bees are active for 4-6 weeks. For extended pollination, consider two shipments 4 weeks apart for 8-12 weeks of pollination. 

Once your bees arrive, it's up to you to provide these pollinators with healthy habitats to forage and nest to be successful. Learning how to care for your bees is essential for seeing healthy future generations in your yard. The bees need pollen, be sure there are blooms available for them.
