Mason bees fly best when daytime temps are 55°F/13°C and above. Easy to raise, just set up their bee house with 8 mm (about 0.31 in) diameter nesting materials. These bees use clay-mud to create their nesting wall so be sure to supply them or if you don't have exposed, moist, clay-rich soil, be sure to order Spring Mason Bee Mud Mix.
