Great tree! Adorable, tasty fruit!

We planted a couple of these 4 years ago, they are starting to produce. The fruit is small, pretty and very tasty. A slightly firm flesh with some fine "pear grit", aromatic and sweet. Highly recommended!

Surviving in Montana

I planted this tree in Montana last spring (2019). It replaced a cherry--the cherries just don t seem to make it here at over 5,000 feet and with our alkaline soils. This pear put on good growth, and is so far handling our challenging conditions well. It is of course too young to make any comments about flowering and fruiting.
