Twilight Thornless Blackberry
Rubus watson x 'Twilight'
The Twilight Thornless blackberry is a new blend of eastern and western genetics, developed in Oregon State - USPP30879P2. It's a thornless option, derived from 'Ouachita' and 'ORUS 2867-4' plants, and the large, surprisingly firm berries offer unusually good fragrance alongside a delightful jam flavor with notes of honey! It is easy to handle and offers superior growth and yield compared to other cultivars like Chester and Triple Crown.
Early ripener and unusually cold tolerant - a boon for all you northern growers! Shorter canes are easy to keep in bounds.
