Unique Guava
Acca sellowiana 'Unique'
This classic New Zealand variety is prized for its abundant crops of smaller, sweet, very flavorful fruit. Self-fertile and naturally compact, Unique makes an attractive addition to any landscape, with its silvery, downy evergreen leaves. Easy to manage and produces abundant crops of flavorful blossoms and/or fruit year after year. In short or cool summer areas the decorative blossoms, which taste intensely sweet, are enjoyed - since the fruit will not set nor ripen.
Enjoy the convenience of harvesting guavas without having to worry about cross-pollination or pruning. Keep soils evenly moist for juicy fruit. This variety is grafted to an A. sellowiana seedling.
