"wow" berries

While they can be a little too intense for me at times, they re still delicious and get wide-eyed "wow" reactions from everyone. Mine ripen to around the size of a nickel and are very sweet with a tropical kick to them.

Adorbs!

This cute little alpine strawberry is taking over the rocky, kinda gnarly patch of my garden by the rhubarb plant exactly as I envisioned it would. I ordered it along with some rugen and mingonette alpine strawberries last year. Those have also spread out a bit, so I guess we ll figure out who s who later in the year. Honestly though, it makes such a pretty groundcover that I won t mind if they completely take over that garden.

Kids love them

Getting more! They grow great in shady areas of my yard (the ones in full sun died). My 6 year old and his friends love hunting for the “white strawberries that taste like pineapple”.
