Zestar Apple

This patented, superior winter hardy, early-season apple thrives in the Northern half of the nation! Zestar ripens early, in late August in the PNW, and has a deliciously crunchy flavor. It will keep nicely for a month and a half. The tree is a reliable producer of large red apples.
Shows some resistance to fireblight and good resistance to mildew; some susceptibility to scab.
