QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • can I request a Rainer, and a sour cherry? don't care what the others on it are, Do not know what the different types you mention are, I know Rainer, (I'm in Washington State) I would like a sour cherry type also, but don't know what those would be. I would like to pre-order if possible, to get a combination that would work for that? When we pre-order, are we reserving a specific tree? When would tree ship? Thank you for your time.

No, sour and sweet cherries are different species (avium and cerasus), and would not be compatible for the purposes of pollination.

  • Is this shipped as a bare root plant?

    Yes this is shipped bareroot.

  • How many chill hours

    800+ chill hours

  • What zones will this tree grow in?

    USDA Zone 5 and warmer

  • Will this bear fruit if planted in a big pot?

For a number of years yes, but it will eventually need to be planted.

I ordered this tree spring 2024, it’s already producing cherries. Lovely dwarf.

Tree doing great!

Arrived in great shape. After having been in the ground for about two weeks, the tree is showing healthy growth. Very happy with purchase!

Received a beautiful tree with thick and straight trunk! Grafted with three different varieties, well labeled. The leaf buds are very full. Absolutely will buy again from this nursery!

The tree arrived on time…

and was packaged well. I left it in the box for another three days because I was running low on my growing medium. When I took it out of the box and planted it it had buds on it. After a week (4/16/2023) of being planted in the pot two of the Cherry branches (Hudson & Rainier) are now flowering. Since the Montmorency is a later producing Cherry I’m assuming it will start to bud and flower soon.
