Ribes rubrum 'Gloire des Sablons'

Long clusters of sparkling pink fruit adorn this beautiful French heirloom variety. Gloire de Sablons is an upright and vigorous grower with fruit you can use just like a red currant!

White and pink currants are rare compared to black and red varieties. Pink currant hardiness and growth habit is similar to their red cousins. They are very productive and high in Vitamin C. Bushes grow to 3'-5’ tall. Cold hardy to USDA Zones 3 (-40F).

Beautiful beautiful beautiful

Stoked to grow these beautiful little pink currents and make some jam and Pink Current Aperitif. Mine came with little sprouts on the sticks, it looked so beautiful and precious and I'M SOOOOO EXCITED. I just read that fruit comes on last years sticks so I hope I get some fruit this year. WOOT! 5 stars I can't thank Raintree enough!

This arrived as a completely bare stick. I planted it in a planter pot and it is now leafing out and growing so well!

Both of the bare root plants were in excellent shape at time of delivery. Already sprouted new growth all over , with root systems healthy and thriving.
