Yellow Fruited Cornus Mas
Prohibited to Florida
This beautiful edible ornamental produces a fluffy foam of yellow flowers late in winter, has dainty dogwood pointed oval leaves, and is loaded with unique oval yellow fruit 1 inch long each fall. Each fruit has a single pit, and when fully ripened it tastes like a fall pie cherry! The yellow fruit has a more delicate and fragrant character than its red cousins.
Cornelian cherry is unusually carefree; not prone to disease or pest attack. Use another Cornus mas variety as a pollinizer for fruit.
