Amarena Di Pescara Cherry

Arrived in good shape, took well to planting, within a week its looking better and better. Looking forward to the fruit.

Received a very young small tree, well rooted, potted. Looks healthy, with plenty of roots in the pot. It may be at least a few years before I get any cherries from this tree, but I have high hopes. I do wish it came on a rootstock that is described as being better for my climate (it is only available on Colt rootstock), but I'm going to try it anyway.

Extremely satisfied with the plant for it being a one gallon, much bigger than expected. It arrived alive and well with a robust root system and took to transplanting very well! Can't wait till for fruit

The plant arrived alive without broken branches. It seems to have survived the shock of removing it from the container and insertion into its orchard. Fortunately I speak Italian so was able to understand the plant when it told me to enclose it within welded wire fencing to protect it from the local deer population that cruise the orchard for gourmet snacks. Only time will tell how well it adapts to the Pacific Northwest weather.

The tree that arrived is tiny and had two leaves on it. It was a gift for a friend and I confess I was embarrassed when he sent a photo of it. Hopefully it will grow and be lovely, but I'm a bit surprised he bothered to plant it.
