Cornus mas 'Coral Blaze'

Coral Blaze ™ Cornelian Cherry is a product of the Ukranian cornus mas breeding program. As a results it produces large and sweeter than average, flavorful fruits that are bright red. Coral Blaze ™ is excellent for fresh eating, jams, and preserves, or you can make it into a traditional beverage like Dirndlbrand (Cornelian cherry brandy)!

Harvest at maturity ranges from 20 to 30 pounds per bush. No known pest issues. Grows best in rich, well-drained soil, but tolerate poor soil as long as it is well-drained.
