Jupiter Seedless Grape
Vitis labrusca x vinifera 'Jupiter'
Enjoy Muscat flavor in a seedless reddish/purple table grape! Jupiter is a large, early-ripening grape of medium vigor and high productivity from the University of Arkansas. Like Venus, (from the same breeding program), it is crunchy, non-slipskin, and sometimes has soft vestigial seeds. It ripens well even in a cool maritime summer. Grows in USDA Zone 5-9. Ripens in September, along with Faith, and just after Interlaken and Himrod.
A grapevine can be both a highly productive source of fruit and a focal point of considerable beauty. Think carefully about where to plant one to provide shade, cover a wall or accentuate an arch. We offer grapes most of which will ripen even in areas with cool summers. The ripening dates listed are for the cooler parts of Western Washington, but most ripen sooner and thrive where summers are warmer.
