The Cardinal™ Asian Persimmon, native to Korea, has a short ripening time and is known for being non-astringent. This particular type has large, sweet, orange fruit and a compact tree. With an early ripening time compared to other varieties, it is perfect for fresh eating. It is also visually appealing with its compact size and vibrant orange-red foliage in the fall.
