Pyrus pyrifolia 'Mishirasu'

Enjoy big crops of orange/brown skinned, oval-shaped fruits that look like a chunky European pear. The huge fruit is very crisp and crunchy, with an excellent flavor.

One of the latest to ripen here in the PNW. Stores for months in the fridge or cellar.

Tree did not survive

I hope the tree would sprout some leaves but it never did. I am not so sure what caused it to die but other tree I have order about the same time survived.

The tree is growing leaf buds. I am looking forward to see leaves breakout and getting fruit from this tree.
