      AKA French 777. The most promising clone of Pinot Noir in the WSU Mt. Vernon trials, ripening before the Wadenswill clone. One of the most promising red wine grapes for cool climates, needing between 1600-1900 GDD (Growing Degree Days) to ripen. Hardy in USDA Zone 5-9. Ripens in Sept.
