From the same Ontario, Canadia breeding program that brought us the fabulous Tehranivee, here comes its ridiculously productive sibling Vandalay. A delicious, large, maroon, self fertile cherry that will give enough to satisfy all you cherry lovers.

Ripens on the early side with Bing and blooms with Sweetheart. Resistant to canker. Chill hours unconfirmed; probably requires 800+ hours of chill.

  • I currently have the vandalay cherry. What other dark sweet cherry varieties suitable for zone 7 would be a good cross pollinator for the vandalay cherry? Thank you.

    Terhanivee or Black Gold will do well for cross pollination.
