Roseglow Flowering Apricot
Prunus mume 'Rosegold'
Well named, the Roseglow flowering apricot blooms with cinnamon-scented bright rosy-pink single flowers! Roseglow blooms very early in spring (one of the earliest) putting on an incredible show before their "ume" plums are produced.
Use another P. mume for cross pollination and better fruit set. Roseglow is a beautiful ornamental that often blooms too early in maritime climates and doesn't set a crop unless grown in a controlled setting. It's also wonderful for providing forage for early pollinators.
